Inspiration and Information
Started in 2013 OFC is a fresh and alternative take on the careers fair model specifically promoting the creative and making world – encouraging students to consider a career in a creative design or ‘Making’ sector.
Our events are structured as inspirational showcases with added workshops, talks and discussion groups.
At each unique event OUR FUTURE CREATIVES introduce amazing products produced by local designers and designer makers. Our aim is to inspire and inform.
The message that we want to drive home is that a career in Making or the creative industries is a totally viable and legitimate career choice as well as being exceptionally rewarding.
Our events are designed as basic ‘tasters’ to awaken something in the minds of the attendees who will be able to leave with useful contacts and some idea of how to pursue a creative pathway
